Typing Test
Your first activity for each month will be to take a typing test. You may choose a test from any of the links listed below.
You may practice the test outside of computer class; however, only the score of the test you complete in class will count as your grade.
Raise your hand after you have completed your test so that Mrs. Khan can record your grade. She must see your score, if not you will need to take the test over. You will also need to record your score on your Typing Test Record.
Your goal is to improve your score by at least one word per minute each month.
Students who are typing at or above the goal rate per minute for their grade level (see objective) may have free time during the ten-minute typing practice each week. You will, however, have to take the typing test each month to prove that you are maintaining your rate.
If you are absent the day the rest of your classmates takes their typing tests, you will need to take the test before you may begin your other activities for the month.
If you have any questions, please discuss them with Mrs. Khan during your typing practice time.
